Dining Hall, La Terraza Restaurant, & Selvita Bar
Fresh Local Foods in a variety of dishes
Our dining hall, restaurant, and bar sit astride the lovely Sarapiquí River with a spectacular view, particularly during dusk as the sun begins to set and lends a golden hue to the river and trees. The two story building houses the upstairs Dining Hall, and below La Terrazza Restaurante and Selvita Bar on the ground floor with plentiful river-view patio seating.
Main Dining Hall
The dining hall serves fresh, local foods in a variety of dishes. All the food is prepared by our local chefs, and is served three times a day. Breakfast includes gallo pinto, eggs, cereal, yogurt, and fresh tropical fruit, while lunch and dinner include two main entrees, hot side dishes, and a fresh salad bar. Dinner also includes a soup du jour and dessert. Juice, coffee, and tea are served with the buffet meals.
Restaurante Pizzeria La Terrazza
Restaurante Pizzeria La Terrazza is open for dinner, and serves a delicious variety of authentic Mediterranean dishes, including wood-fired oven flatbreads and calzones cooked to order. There is a full menu and complete table service. Reservations are recommended.
Selvita Bar
Enjoy a freshly blended juice, an inspired cocktail, cold beer, or glass of wine at the Selvita Bar. Many refreshing options are served up by the friendly bartenders, and can be enjoyed in a rocking chair or at a table on the breezy patio overlooking the Sarapiquí.
Private Seating
Share a bottle of wine and a romantic dinner at one of our candlelit tables.
